If you want to reach Cala Tonnarella dell'Uzzo choose the North entrance (San Vito Lo Capo side) of the Riserva dello Zingaro. The cove can be reached after just 700 mt of walking. It is the largest and most frequent of the entire reserve.
The path that leads from the entrance to Cala Tonnarella dell'Uzzo quickly descends, passes next to the Museum of marine activities and then, through a ladder carved into the rock, allows you to reach the sea.
Due to the considerable slope of the path, use closed shoes; they will be indispensable above all on the return, uphill. The sandals, or rather the rock shoes, put them in the backpack to walk comfortably among the small pebbles. Next to the museum are the toilets. Before leaving, do not miss the chance to discover how tuna fishing took place in the ancient tuna fishery of Sicily visiting the Museum of maritime activities .
